Not convinced that I would make a dynamic presenter or lecturer at your conference, retreat or convention, then here’s a little more about me. As an award-winning journalist, I connected with the community, increased distribution and readership by 400% in less than 6 months and eventually became editor in chief. While working at the newspaper, I was asked to assist in a historically significant political campaign. My experience, at that time, of over 10 years as a grassroots activist helped the candidate to become the first African American Treasurer in the city and she appointed me as Deputy Treasurer. As the youngest to ever hold that position, I was sought after in many political arenas working with the likes of Jesse Jackson and Michigan democrats to help increase voting for citizens between the ages of 18 and 25 during the Clinton reelection in 1996. The training and preparation received through a wealth of diverse experiences has led me to the field of organizational and individual coaching with clients ranging from small business owners to writers. I possess degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Phoenix and I am a member of Coachville.
